    Refloated, arrested in Montreal, Canada and sold at auction 1972
    Scrapped August 1972 in Santander Spain

 

Naval Covers

Other Information

USS TORRANCE earned the American Campaign Medal, the Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal w/ 1 battle star, the World War II Victory Medal, the Navy Occupation Service Medal (with Asia clasp) and the Philippines Liberation Medal during her Naval career.

NAMESAKE - A county in the State of New Mexico.
