Naval Covers

Other Information

USS TAMBOR earned the American Defense Medal, the American Campaign Medal, the Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal w/ 11 battle stars and the World War II Victory Medal during her Naval career.

NAMESAKE - The red rock fish of the Pacific coast.

The ships sponsor was Miss Lucia Ellis.
