Naval Covers

This section lists active links to the pages displaying covers associated with the ship. Other Information

USS Solomons earned the American Campaign Medal, the European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign Medal and the World War II Victory Medal during her Naval career.

NAMESAKE - The Battle of the Solomons November 12-15 1942.

The ships sponsor was Mrs. F. J. McKenna.
