Naval Covers

USS RUDYERD BAY earned the American Campaign Medal, the Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal w/ 5 Battle stars, the World War II Victory Medal, the Philippine Presidential Unit Citation Ribbon and the Philippine Liberation Medal w/ 2 Bronze stars during her Naval service.

NAMESAKE - A bay in Alaska

The ships sponsor was Mrs. Scott Ernest Peck, wife of Captain Peck, USN
