Other Information

RICHARD E. KRAUS earned 2 Battle Stars for her Vietnam War service.

NAMESAKE - Private First Class Richard Edward Kraus, USMCR (November 24 1925 – October 3 1944)
PFC Kraus, assigned to the 8th Amphibious Tractor Battalion, Fleet Marine Force, was awarded the Medal of Honor posthumously for his "conspicuous gallantry" during the Battle of Peleliu.
