Naval Covers

USS OCKLAWAHA earned the China Service Medal, the American Campaign Medal, the Asiatic-Pacific Medal w/ 2 Battle stars, the World War II Victory Medal, the Navy Occupation Service Medal w/ Asia clasp and the National Defense Service Medal during her Naval career.

NAMESAKE - A river in north central Florida.

The ships sponsor was Mrs. Van W. Rosendahl
