  4. Per NavSource: Sold June 25 1946, to Arctic Circle Exploration, Inc., of Seattle, WA.

    Sold? (date unknown) to Pacific American Fisheries Inc which converted the ship to a "Floating Cannery" between 1948 and 1950 and named it.
    First appearance of name NEVA is found in Merchant Vessels of the United States 1951 (page 392) and shows the owner as Pacific American Fisheries Inc (Delaware) and having Official Number 176786
    IMO Number: 5249845

    Lloyd's Register of Shipping shows owner as Fabrica de Harina de Pesca in 1963 and 1969, name retained, flagged in Peru
    Lloyd's Register of Shipping shows owner as Gulf Fisheries Co. W.L.L. in 1974 and 1975, flagged Kuwait
    Lloyd's Register of Shipping shows owner as United Fisheries Co. W.L.L. by 1977 through 1982, name retained, flagged in Kuwait

  5. HAMDAN 20 (Commercial Service)
  6. Renamed 1982. Lloyd's Register of Shipping 1983 H-O (1982-83) still lists owner as United Fisheries Co. W.L.L. and flagged in Kuwait

    Dismantled in 1982 in Kuwait (per Lloyd's Register of Shipping Casualty Return Quarter Ended 31 March 1982 page 141)

 

Naval Covers

This section lists active links to the pages displaying covers associated with the ship. There should be a separate set of pages for each name of the ship (for example, Bushnell AG-32 / Sumner AGS-5 are different names for the same ship so there should be one set of pages for Bushnell and one set for Sumner). Covers should be presented in chronological order (or as best as can be determined).

Since a ship may have many covers, they may be split among many pages so it doesn't take forever for the pages to load. Each page link should be accompanied by a date range for covers on that page.

Postmarks

This section lists examples of the postmarks used by the ship. There should be a separate set of postmarks for each name and/or commissioning period. Within each set, the postmarks should be listed in order of their classification type. If more than one postmark has the same classification, then they should be further sorted by date of earliest known usage.

A postmark should not be included unless accompanied by a close-up image and/or an image of a cover showing that postmark. Date ranges MUST be based ONLY ON COVERS IN THE MUSEUM and are expected to change as more covers are added.
