Naval Covers

This section lists active links to the pages displaying covers associated with the ship. USS LENAWEE earned the China Service Medal, the American Campaign Medal, the Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal w/ 2 Battle stars, the World War II Victory Medal, the Navy Occupation Service Medal w/ Asia clasp, the National Defense Service Medal, the Korean Service Medal w/ 3 Campaign stars, the Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, the Vietnam Service Medal w/ 1 Campaign star, the Republic of Vietnam Meritorious Unit Citation Ribbon, the United Nations Service Medal and the Republic of Korea War Service Medal during her Naval career.

NAMESAKE - A county in southern Michigan.

The ships sponsor was Mrs. Olaf Haugen.
