This section lists active links to the pages displaying covers associated with the ship. NAMESAKE - Tyrannus is a genus of small birds of the tyrant flycatcher family.
The ships sponsor was Mrs. Marion Cushman Wilson.
There has been two ships of the US Navy that have borne the name KINGBIRD - USS Kingbird AMc-56 and USS Kingbird MSC-194.
