    Reclassified Minesweeper Coastal, Old (MSC(O) 7 February 1955

    Struck from the Naval Register 1 November 1959
    Fate unknown.

Naval Covers

This section lists active links to the pages displaying covers associated with the ship. Other Information

NAMESAKE - A crossbill is a finch whose curved mandibles cross each other.

Two ships of the US Navy have borne the name CROSSBILL - USS Crossbill AMc-9 and USS Crossbill MSC(O)-45.
