Naval Covers

NAMESAKE - Named for the 38th state, COLORADO.

Four ships of the US Navy have borne the name COLORADO - USS Colorado (1858-1876)(three-masted steam screw frigate) - USS Colorado ACR-7 - USS Colorado BB-45
and USS Colorado SSN-788.

The ships sponsor is Annie Mabus, daughter of Secretary of the Navy Ray Mabus.
