Naval Covers

NAMESAKE - John Kennedy Barton (April 7 1853 - December 23 1921)
Barton graduated from the Naval Academy in 1873. He served as Engineer-in-Chief and Chief of the Bureau of Steam Engineering with the rank of Rear Admiral. He retired December 23 1908. Rear Admiral Barton died in Philadelphia December 23 1921
