Other Information
USS WOODWORTH earned the Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal w/ 7 Battle Stars and the World War II Victory Medal during her Naval career.
NAMESAKE - Commander Selim E. Woodworth (27 November 1815 – 29 January 1871) an officer in The United States Navy.
The ships sponsor was Mrs. Selim E. Woodworth, niece and daughter-in-law of Comdr. Woodworth.
