Naval Covers

This section lists active links to the pages displaying covers associated with the ship. There should be a separate set of pages for each name of the ship (for example, Bushnell AG-32 / Sumner AGS-5 are different names for the same ship so there should be one set of pages for Bushnell and one set for Sumner). USS THETIS BAY earned the Navy Expeditionary Medal, the American Campaign Medal, the Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal w/ 1 Battle star, the World War II Victory Medal, the Navy Occupation Service Medal w/ "Asia" clasp, the National Defense Service Medal and the Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal (3 awards) during her Naval career.

NAMESAKE - An inlet at the south end of Tebenkof Bay on the west coast of Kuiu Island in the Alexander Archipelago of Alaska.

The ships sponsor was Mrs. Ricco Botta.
