Naval Covers

This section lists active links to the pages displaying covers associated with the ship. NAMESAKE - Named for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

Ten ships of the United States Navy and United States Revenue Cutter Service have borne the name MASSACHUSETTS - USRC Massachusetts (1791, Topsail Schooner),
USRC Massachusetts II (1793, Sloop), USS Massachusetts (1845, Wooden Steamer), USS Massachusetts (1860, Iron Screw Steamer), USS Massachusetts (1869, Monitor),
USS Massachusetts BB-2, USS Massachusetts (1917, Minelayer), USS Massachusetts (BB-54, Cancelled 1923), USS Massachusetts BB-59 and USS Massachusetts SSN-798.
