Naval Covers

This section lists active links to the pages displaying covers associated with the ship. NAMESAKE - Named for the city of Houston, Texas

USS Houston earned two Navy Unit Commendations and a Meritorious Unit Commendation during her Naval career.

The ships sponsor is Barbara Bush, wife of then Vice-President of the United States George H. W. Bush.
