The UNITED FRUIT COMPANY, was started in 1899 and became the UNITED BRANDS CORPORATION in the late 1950's. Many ships and markings were utilized over the course of their history and on these pages will be shown examples of them.
These cancellations are most commonly found in black but also exist in red, blue, violet and very occasionally green.
Postmark numbering system is taken from the "The United Fruit Company; The History, Ships & Cancellations of the Great White Fleet" by Philip Cockrill.

Cachets should be listed in chronological order based on earliest known usage. Use the postmark date or best guess. This applies to add-on cachets as well.
