USS HUNTINGTON earned the American Campaign Medal, the World War II Victory Medal and the World War II Occupation Medal w/ Europe Clasp during her Naval career.

NAMESAKE - Named for the city of Huntington, West Virginia.

The ships sponsor was Mrs. Elizabeth Jarrett.

Three ships of the US Navy have borne the name HUNTINGTON - USS Huntington ACR-5, USS Huntington CL-77 and USS Huntington CL-107.
