Naval Covers

Other Information

USS SEARAVEN earned the Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal w/ ten battle stars and the World War II Victory Medal during her Naval career.

NAMESAKE - A sculpin of the northern Atlantic coast of America.

The ships sponsor was Mrs. Cyrus W. Cole, wife of Capt. Cyrus Willard Cole, commandant of the Portsmouth Navy Ship Yard.
