Meter Cancels
The goal of this Special Collection is to display an example of every Meter postmark from every ship known to have used them. Once we have them all in one place, we can get a better understanding of exactly how many different styles exist. Meters fall into one of four groups: Friden meters, Hasler meters, Pitney Bowes meters, and the new PVI (Postage Validation Imprinter) meters. A separate page is used for each one and lists all the styles within that group.
