Addressed to RAdm Charles F. Pond, USN (The embarked flag officer aboard USS Memphis at the time of her disaster but happened to be ashore at the time). Overstruck with a USS Prairie AD-5 Type 1 postmark and a USPO Flag cancel from Berkeley CA advertising the "Panama-California International Exposition At San Francisco 1916."
