be presented in chronological order (or as best as can be determined).

This section lists examples of the postmarks used by the ship. There should be a

has the same classification, then they should be further sorted by date of earliest

'''NAMESAKE''' - Rear Admiral Samuel Eliot Morison, USNR (July 9 1887–May 15 1976) an American historian, noted for producing works of maritime history that were both authoritative and highly readable. A sailor as well as a scholar, Morison garnered numerous honors, including two Pulitzer Prizes, two Bancroft Prizes, and the Presidential Medal of Freedom. His general history textbooks were both widely used and later criticized by some academics for writing considered racially insensitive.
