			There is disagreement regarding the initial name of this ship as well as who it was originally built for.<br/><br/>
			[https://www.navsource.org/archives/12/172068.htm NavSource] says this ship was originally named TIDEWATER
			and then renamed to GLEN WHITE.
			It does not say who the ship was originally built for.<br/><br/>
			[https://www.history.navy.mil/research/histories/ship-histories/danfs/g/glen-white.html Naval History and Heritage Command] (DANFS successor)
			agrees with: "Glen White was built as Tidewater by the New York Shipbuilding Co., Camden, N.J.,..."
			and then indicates that the ship was built "for the American-Italian Steam Ship Co., New York"<br/><br/>
			However, [https://shipscribe.com/usnaux/ww1/ships/glenwhit.htm Shipscribe] says that TIDEWATER and GLEN WHITE were two different ships
			and that TIDEWATER was later renamed to ISAAC T. MANN in 1923.<br/><br/>
			The [https://shipscribe.com/usnaux/ww1/ships/tidewatr.htm Shipscribe] page for TIDEWATER includes the following passage:<br/>
			"Note: World War I-era Navy clerks appear to have thought that Glen White was S.S. Tidewater renamed and that both names referred to the same ship. <h3>Postmarks</h3>
This section lists examples of the postmarks used by the ship. There should be a
separate set of postmarks for each incarnation of the ship (ie, for each entry
in the "Ship Name and Designation History" section). Within each set, the postmarks
should be listed in order of their classification type. If more than one postmark
has the same classification, then they should be further sorted by date of earliest
known usage.

A postmark should not be included unless accompanied by a close-up image and/or an
image of a cover showing that postmark. Date ranges MUST be based ONLY ON COVERS IN
THE MUSEUM and are expected to change as more covers are added.
