			<i>Lloyd's Register of Shipping</i> has a different early history.<br/>
			In its 1929 edition, the ship's name is listed as BUFFALO, owned by "Madrigal & Co."<br/>
			and has prior names: Nictheroy, Yosemite, and El Sud.<br/><br/>
			The 1890s editions of Lloyd's have no mention of an El Cid but do have an entry for El Sud indicating<br/>
			it was built in 1892 by Newport News Shipbuilding and owned by "Southern Pacific Co."<br/>
			The entries for Nictheroy say it was built in Rio de Janeiro in 1892.<br/>
			The 1899 edition has an entry for Yosemite (ex El Sud) and lists the owner as "United States Government".<br/><br/>
			The Newport News Shipbuilding page at [http://shipbuildinghistory.com/shipyards/large/newportnews.htm Shipbuilding.com] has entries for both El Sud and El Cid:<br/>

<h3>Postmarks</h3>
This section lists examples of the postmarks used by the ship. There should be a
separate set of postmarks for each incarnation of the ship (ie, for each entry
in the "Ship Name and Designation History" section). Within each set, the postmarks
should be listed in order of their classification type. If more than one postmark
has the same classification, then they should be further sorted by date of earliest
known usage.

A postmark should not be included unless accompanied by a close-up image and/or an
image of a cover showing that postmark. Date ranges MUST be based ONLY ON COVERS IN
THE MUSEUM and are expected to change as more covers are added.
