Note - Not all of Dye's covers are FAKES, but each one needs to be carefully looked at for suspicious postmarks, backdating or other such activities.

This page will look at the 1946 postmark created by Dye, supposedly from USCGC MOHAWK WPG-78. This postmark is identified as "FAKE" in the Universal Ship Cancellation Society Postmark Catalog and given the catalog number of M-38.
