Ship Cover Page Template

After you create a new ship page, the link for the first ship cover page will appear in red. To create the ship cover page, click on the link and the editor will appear. To make the process easier and maintain consistency, copy and paste the following template (all the text inside the box just below with the border made out of blue dashes) into the editor and fill in the first cover entry.

Covers should be listed in chronological order. Use the postmark date or best guess.

Each entry provides a link to the image of the front of the cover. There is also 
the option to have a link to the image of the back of the cover if there is anything 
of significance there. Finally, there is the primary date for the cover and the 
classification types for all postmarks based on the [[Locy_System | Locy System]].

Note that the template includes an instance of the cover entry template. You can use the cover entry template to add the first cover to the page. For more information, see Editing Ship Cover Pages.

Don't worry about the "Return to...Main Page" part near the top of the page. It is commented out and will be taken care of by the Museum Staff.
