For each search criteria line you need, select the data element, select the verb phrase, and then type in the value(s). You may use the same data element for more than one search criteria line. An entry must meet all of the search criteria in order to be retrieved.
All results are sorted by Cancel Date and then Cancel Name (ie, ship name or city name). Search results will not include entries for duplicate covers. Note that it is possible to create conflicting search criteria such that no entries will match.
For all data elements except Cancel Locy Type, no distinction is made between capitalized and uncapitalized letters. All the following would be considered the same: "MED", "MEd", "MeD", "Med", "mED", "mEd", "meD", and "med". For Cancel Locy Type, capitalized and uncapitalized letters are considered different.
View the Search Help page for examples of how to construct a search and view the Searchable Data Elements page for descriptions of the data elements.
Note that this process searches the raw data tables instead of the pre-processed summary tables that are used by the indices. Although more categories are available to search, searching will be slower.
