Added 44 more covers to bring the Collection up to 941. This batch
consists mostly of U.S.S. Arizona (BB-39), U.S.S. Pennsylvania (BB-38),
and U.S.S. Honolulu (CL-48).
August 14, 2002
Added 112 more covers to bring the Collection up to 897. This is the
end of the U.S.S. Cuttlefish (SS-171) covers from Jim Davenport.
Special thanks to Jim Davenport for contributing the U.S.S. Cuttlefish
covers.

Added 63 more covers to bring the Collection up to 785. About half
of the covers in this batch are from U.S.S. Cuttlefish (SS-171)
and the rest are from U.S.S. Arizona (BB-39), U.S.S. Pennsylvania (BB-38),
U.S.S. Honolulu (CL-48), U.S.S. Enterprise (CV-6), and U.S.S. Texas (BB-35).

Added 89 more covers to bring the Collection up to 722. All covers
in this batch are submarines built at Mare Island, California.
The Museum is very pleased to present its first exhibit:
"A History of the Submarines Built at the Mare Island Naval Shipyard"
by Steve Shay.
This exhibit won a Multi-frame competition Gold medal and the Reserve
Grand award at the 2001 USCS Annual Convention.
